BAQOUBA, Iraq (AP) – Unidentified assailants attacked two police patrols north of Baghdad on Tuesday morning, killing one person and injuring three others, police said.

An 8:15 a.m. car bomb missed one patrol and injured a civilian bystander, police said.

Fifteen minutes later, gunmen fired on another patrol as it parked near Hayat Hospital, killing one policeman and injuring two others, police said.
