King Salman Meets Sheikh Dr. Sultan al-Qasimi

Riyadh-Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at al-Yamamah palace on Monday Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed al-Qasimi, Supreme Council’s Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who is currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they reviewed brotherly relations between the two fraternal countries.
King Salman also received on Monday former U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, and their meeting tackled a number of topics of mutual interest.
The audience of the two meetings was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed al-Aiban, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid al-Turaifi and Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir.
On the other hand, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques will patronize a ceremony that will be held on Wednesday, to grace winners of King Khalid Award, in its 6th edition.
The awards will be given in all three fields of Development Partners, Excellence among Non-profitable Organizations and Responsible Competition.
The ceremony will take place at Prince Sultan Hall of al-Faisaliyah Hotel.
